Route 66 Restaurant Point



An unusual advertising technique we've attracted to this restaurant recluse. We walked the trail along the St. Charles River when a paper pasted on a telephone pole attracts our attention: "Restaurant 200 meters" with an arrow pointing to the other side of the bridge. I wanted to take a photo but when I returned the paper was gone. However following the boom and our curiosity we cross the bridge, you arrive in an unknown part of Limoilou, on the street Pointe Hare. The terrace of the restaurant was lively and "pogo" appears in the list of food displayed on the window. Oh yes it promises.

We moved to the terrace. In fact the restaurant is empty, everyone is on the terrace. The menu seems a bit pricey (the small poutine is $ 7!) But the waitress explained that they bought the recipe for poutine restaurant's chef Wendake (is that the sauce is special). A word catches my attention the burger "body" with 2 balls and special sauce. I took my sidekick and it is quieter with a cheeseburger and we share a small poutine.

Until we have time to hear jokes from usual: "You know a fat woman who weighs at least 300 pounds, fell over if you have that would make the mashed potatoes! "

poutine arrives and the sauce is fantastic! Is poutine ikea assemble yourself. Sauce and cheese fries arrive separately ( I think the concept is also the restaurant's chef). We would have liked a bag of cheese a bit bigger but it's the only downside, poutine is the promise of waitress "as soon as you're here ".

My burger" body "is an impressive avalanche of sauce, I do not know what's the special sauce I think it meant extra extra sauce. They put the mozzarella cheese between two balls, which n is not really better than the cheese mozzarella cheeseburger because the filaments stretch and make every mouthful, what with the phenomenal amount of sauce makes the burger more difficult to eat. But our figurehead is satisfied with his cheeseburger, which has less sauce would be perfect with extra bacon.
